I’a means fish, or staple food source. This belt is inspired by the mountains and the sea. The fish scales embossed on this belt were sketched and drawn by Taira, as she reflects on hunting and fishing, through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I’a is a very strong word in the native Hawaiian language. You wear this belt you are a provider, dedicated to men and women who provide the I’a for their Ohana. The buckle and rivets are made out of solid brass. It is a uni-sex belt and will suit a man or woman.

How Do Belt Sizes Work?

If you have an existing belt use it as your guide. You will have to measure the buckle end to the hole you use the most or use a tape measure and lay it around your waist where your belt will sit and add 2-3 inches to get your belt size. Please use the following images as references to get your correct measurements.
